MIYAZAKI NIHON UNIVERSITY JUNIOR AND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

  In 1963, the senior high school opened as an affiliated school of Nihon University (founded 1889).  In 1986, the junior high school was added.  Over 100 students enter Nihon University every year from our high school.

Miyazaki Nihon University Junior High School

Almost all of the students enter the Special Academic Course at senior high school as unified education students and some may choose from among four other courses at high school. On the basis of Nihon University Spirit, Japanese Spirit and Special Education for the Gifted, we teach traditional culture through Tea Ceremony and we make much of teaching English as an important part of the curriculum. In addition to that, students study Chinese for use during school excursions to China.

School dormitories are nearby school. The Capacity is approximately 300(boys and girls are separated), three meals served, fully air conditioned

6  Environment

  Miyazaki city has a mild climate and comfortable all through the year and is safe.

  Our premises are 90,000‡u wide. There are four large buildings and three gymnasiums. Studentsf number is about 1,800, which is the largest in this prefecture.
